MrS and I went to a gig at The Forum in Kentish Town tonight. When he went to Download earlier in the year he was impressed by these guys – The Temperance Movement – and booked tickets off the back of their performance. I downloaded their album from Spotify and really enjoyed it. They’re slightly more blusey and not as heavy as some of the stuff he likes to listen to (Slipknot, 5FDP anyone?) but as I’ve said on here before he has an all encompassing taste in music. Except crappy pop. He HATES crappy pop. (I on the other hand quite like some crappy pop but I digress…) They were amazing
Support band Raglans who were about 12, brought their own groupies and sounded like a cross between Arctic Monkeys, Simple Minds and Big Country. Fantastic stage presence for such a young band, look out for them.
